For me, working at Valstar Simonis means:
"A nice challenge in climate engineering resulting in a well-functioning sustainable installation and a satisfied client and user."
After having worked at several large installation companies as an engineer, whose tasks included: designing mechanical installations from sewers to complete steam installations for hospitals, I made the transition to project leader at a medium-sized mechanical installation company in Eindhoven. My duties at that time were to maintain customer relations by supervising projects from design to completion.
After these experiences, in 1998 I transferred to the then new Valstar Simonis branch in Eindhoven. As senior project leader I am responsible for the design, tendering of the mechanical installations and overall coordination of the total project.
I can therefore often be found on the projects themselves, where I support the clients in coordinating and supervising the contractors during realization. I hold inspections of the installations and feel responsible for monitoring the quality of the installations.
For me, Valstar Simonis means working with a driven and motivating team that treats each other with great respect and gets the best out of each other. In addition, Valstar Simonis offers me the opportunity to be involved in different types of projects: renovation of offices and computer centers for the financial sector, renovation and new construction of hospitals, distribution centers and printing companies.
