As Senior Project Leader Electrical Engineering, I have been working within Valstar Simonis for several years. Meanwhile, I have been active within the installation industry for quite some time, a large part of which I have worked in the design departments of various companies. Within the electrical installations I have a broad orientation and am familiar with almost all common electrical installations. In the past I have gained a lot of experience, especially in hospitals and the specific installations involved.
At Valstar Simonis, we tackle projects together, empathizing with our clients by listening carefully and immersing ourselves in their activities, wishes and requirements. In this way, we can make the best designs for the installations and, in collaboration with the architect and structural engineer, we design a building that suits the business. Especially the collaboration with my colleagues and the interaction with clients and cooperation partners makes me feel completely at home within Valstar Simonis.
I studied electrical engineering at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven. During my career I followed several professional courses and trainings, including the HIT-E, the MBSE at Avans plus and a Masterclass Installation Strategist.
Currently I work a lot for various utility projects, such as city offices, police stations, hospitals, large distribution centers, but I am also involved in the commissioning of the security installations at Schiphol Airport. Especially the whole energy transition provides a nice challenge within the projects, where the capacities of the utilities play an increasingly important role and we are constantly challenged to come up with sustainable solutions.
