Since I started my career at Valstar Simonis in 2012, I have had the opportunity to work on many beautiful and challenging projects; from skating rinks to hospitals, and from laboratories to education (BO, VO, WO). Due to the diversity of buildings, locations and systems, I have gained a lot of knowledge of a wide range of installations.
During my career, sustainability and comfort have always been a common thread in the projects I have worked on. With as my crowning achievement the design and realization of Atlas, after renovation the most sustainable educational building in the world. And the building where I myself started my degree in Installation Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2003.
After fulfilling various roles within Valstar Simonis, I work as Location Director of our Eindhoven office as of 2021. Here I lead a committed and close team of 10 employees. In addition, I still fulfill the role of consultant in various projects.
I enjoy challenging myself and find complex projects requiring creative solutions extremely interesting. Besides the substantive stimulation in my work, I also continue to develop myself. For example, I am currently taking an MBA course and training to climb Kilimanjaro (hopefully in 2023).
