Since 2015 I have enjoyed working at Valstar Simonis in the position of Senior Engineer / BIM modeler Electrical Engineering. With my more than 18 years of experience in electrical engineering, I can call myself all-round. Before I joined Valstar Simonis, I worked for a secondment company for which I worked at various installation companies.
I received my MBO training in electrical engineering at Drenthe College. In addition, I followed various further education / courses, including Higher Electrical Engineering, Revit, various NEN courses and recently the Higher Lighting Technology course. Because of this I have recently been registered in the lighting register [ www.lichtregister.nl] under no. 66.226.
As a designer I am closely involved in new construction and renovation projects. The integral design of these projects together with the client and other design parties makes it fascinating and challenging to contribute to them.
Projects in which I am currently closely involved are Welgelegen in Utrecht and the new Vrijdag building in Groningen.
