I have been working at Valstar Simonis since March 2019 in the position of Mechanical Engineering Project Leader. I have studied MTS & HTS mechanical engineering and am currently pursuing HIT-W at Avans+.
I am an intense bon vivant! My work is an important source of energy for this.
I enjoy working towards a good result. The objective here is to deliver an additional value in the field of sustainability within the package of requirements and wishes and with smart & efficient engineering to deliver a design that contributes to a more sustainable world.
Before joining Valstar-Simonis in 2019, I gained a lot of experience in all kinds of projects in the 'water world'. Learned that it is very important to realize projects within a (by) set scope, planning and budget in accordance with expected results of the client and user. It is important to clearly define the common goals and to check if it contributes to the bigger picture and to look for the question behind the question.
What I like best is to work together in a team on "something big. In a team with professionals, in which you achieve a result together. In which trust is central and the environment is also involved. In a team in which each team member does what he is good at, but is also not afraid to roll up his sleeves to get the job done. And where you are then together enormously proud of the result and can reminisce, because successes should be celebrated!
The most important thing is that the result gives us satisfied customers, which afterwards can be a prospect for new or follow-up projects.
