SSince 1990 I have enjoyed working on challenging and varied projects within Valstar Simonis. In which I always have in mind to realize a comfortable and healthy environment for the users.
After obtaining my MTS degree in energy technology in Deventer, I started working as a pipe fitter at an installation company. I then moved to The Hague where I started working as a draughtsman/designer at a technical consultancy firm. I did this for five years and then made the move to Valstar Simonis.
At Valstar Simonis I found my place and engaged in the design of electrotechnical installations of very diverse projects. These exciting projects in both healthcare (UMCU Utrecht), cultural sector (Theater Orpheus/Paleis het Loo), educational buildings (Wageningse University), office environments (tax authorities) as well as residential buildings (Paasheuvelweg Amsterdam) are (have been) challenges that I found myself comfortable with.
Currently I am involved in engineering work, modeling the design simultaneously in Revit. I do this for the projects of UMC Amsterdam and UMCU Utrecht, among others.
