The Flow first new construction project with Well Platinum certificate
The dynamic and ultra-healthy office building The Flow has recently been awarded the WELL Core v2 Platinum certificate by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). All collaborating parties are extremely proud of this wonderful result.
The initiators of this concept, MVSA Architects and ToBeDeveloped, developed a sustainable building (with BREEAM Excellent certification) where the well-being of the user is central. One of the ambitions in the design of the building was the realization of a building where people can focus, perform and relax optimally. A WELL Building Standard fitted in seamlessly with this ambition. In close collaboration with, among others, DGMR, MVSA and Valstar Simonis, we have successfully worked towards a WELL Platinum level, which makes it a demonstrable healthy has become an office.
The multi-tenant office is located in the Amsterdam Houthavens with a beautiful view over 't IJ. The black diamond construction consists of 6 layers (total approx. 7000 m2 GFA) with, in addition to office space, a 50 square meter LED screen, a roof terrace, fitness room with sauna and hammam. In addition, various smart and sustainable innovations have been applied, such as facial recognition and sensor technology. Valstar Simonis designed the technical installations.
