Start construction TU Delft PULSE

Today, October 3, 2016, the go-ahead for the construction of Pulse, the first zero-energy building on the campus of the You delft.

The new building, designed by Ector Hoogstad Architects, will be equipped with approx. 950 m2 PV panels in combination with a heat-cold storage in the ground and a facade with double glazing. An intelligent building management system ventilates, illuminates, cools and heats the different areas in Pulse depending on the use. The facade openings are designed in such a way that optimal use is made of daylight. As a result, there is less need for artificial light and therefore less energy is required.

We are very proud of our technical installation design and are looking forward to the result!
