In August 2019, I joined Valstar Simonis as an intern to do my graduation research on alternative gasless heating installations within commercial construction. During this internship period, I fell in love with the field of installation engineering. Therefore, I joined the company in February 2020 as a Junior Engineer Mechanical Engineering. And after 1 year promoted to Engineer Mechanical Engineering.
I received my Mechanical Engineering education at the Haagse Hogeschool. Then I wanted to develop myself even further and started the course Higher Installation Technology Mechanical Engineering (HIT-W) at Avans+. There I am trained one day a week to become an Integral Installation Technician Designer. I am currently in my final year.
As a Mechanical Engineering Engineer, I am mainly involved in calculating and designing buildings for various projects. In recent months I have been closely involved in projects such as the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, House of the City and Region Dordrecht and various distribution centers across the country.
