Working at Valstar Simonis as a BIM modeler/coordinator (electrical engineering) as of August 2019. I see myself as an all-round person; therefore do mechanical engineering activities in addition to electrical engineering. In addition to modeling, I am also involved in internal process improvement of BIM, through BIM quality checks, validation of models and application and programming of scripts. The period before Valstar Simonis I worked at a large consulting firm and in different sectors.
I get great satisfaction from absorbing new information and enjoy delivering a quality product to a client. I am 100% committed to this. It is challenging for me to find a solution that everyone can move forward with. The philosophy (mission and vision) at Valstar Simonis suits me well, which gives me a happy feeling.
I completed my education at the Haagse Hogeschool, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. I also did various courses, such as CAD/Revit and Solibri; as well as Higher Lighting Science and TVVL courses 'Mechanical Engineering for Electrical Engineers' and 'Construction Engineering for Electrical Engineers'.
Various projects pass during my work, such as residential tower, city hall, police station, swimming pool and many other buildings. Am active in task force teams for internal/external quality aspects within Valstar Simonis, possibly using software programs.
