Marcel Swets has been working as a consultant in the Apeldoorn branch since November 2022. Marcel has made a flying start and is directly involved in various projects, but is also broadly involved in more general matters.
As Marcel himself indicates: “I like to look for the combination myself, so it is nice that I have been given the space to do so. Colleagues are also very helpful and open to my sometimes different way of working. I come from a different industry (food and industrial) and although the installation parts are similar, I sometimes have to make a translation. My colleagues help me a lot in this. In addition, my project approach differs from that of Valstar Simonis. This takes some getting used to for both, but it is also an opportunity to strengthen each other and make the way of working even more efficient. It is good to see that people are open to this. And, it is surprising how quickly colleagues, also from other branches, find me. That feels good. The projects and the work area are exactly why I chose Valstar. In short, I'm having a good time.”
