After a tender, various parties were selected to realize beautiful new housing for GGD Gelderland Zuid on Professor Bellefroidstraat in Nijmegen. The following parties work closely together as a team on the design of the transparent main building; De Twee Snoeken (architect), HEVO (project manager), the employees of the GGD and Valstar Simonis, responsible for all technical installations.
The current, 40-year-old housing of the GGD Gelderland on the Groenwoudseweg is outdated and no longer meets the current requirements in the field of energy consumption and the building is also awkwardly laid out. The most important vision for the desired new work environment is that it is a healthy building must be. The following user functions will be combined in the new accommodation of the GGD Gelderland; working, meeting, meeting and it also offers a public function, for example a consultation office and a polyclinic will be accommodated in the building.
The new head office will soon be a sustainable and healthy place that optimally meets the needs of its clients, employees and other partners of the Municipal Health Service and the Security Region.
In this unreal time of the corona era, Valstar Simonis finds it extra valuable to make a nice contribution to this healthy building and to offer all employees a nice perspective.
