Are you the driving force behind our high-profile and sustainable projects, such as the renovation of Paleis 't Loo, the temporary housing of the House of Representatives or the University Medical Center Utrecht? And can you help our relations and clients with complex, technical issues with your expertise, advice or design? That is what we are looking for in an Advisor at Valstar Simonis.
Valstar Simonis is a consultancy firm in the field of installation technology. With approximately 70 employees, we work on 175 different projects every day. This could be making a design (VO/DO/TO), a strategic sustainability issue or the tender for the largest WKO in the Netherlands.
What does an Advisor at Valstar Simonis do?
As an advisor you are responsible for a number of projects. This could be 5 or 15, depending on the complexity and size. You have contact with (potential) clients and translate their wishes into a quotation. Because we often sit at the table in the preliminary stages of a project, we focus on making sustainable choices. It is up to you to advise the client in this. For each project you have a team of project leaders and engineers that you manage. You monitor the quality and without your approval the result document (e.g. VO or DO) will not go to the client. As a consultant you deliver what the client expects and even a little more. It just has to be good. As a consultant, you are not only responsible for good project management, supported by project administration, but you also determine the strategy in terms of technology. In summary:
- Maintaining contacts with clients, architects, constructors, etc.;
- Making quotations and working on European tenders;
- Being responsible for a project from A to Z. Technology and project management;
- Advising clients in the broad field of installation technology;
- You make the design choices, preferably with the highest possible sustainable, circular ambitions.
What does the profile of an interesting candidate look like for us?

What can you expect from Valstar Simonis?
