Installation advice

We are specialized in all aspects of installation advice. Our consultants in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, measurement and control technology and transport installations are available to realize an optimal installation concept, from a straightforward one to very complex.

Sustainability and circularity

Sustainability and circularity are important in our installation advice. After all, comfortable, healthy, flexible buildings and installations are necessary for a sustainable future. We also like to think along about the use of raw materials and the reuse of building materials.

Commissioning

Commissioning is a process of quality control: do the building installations meet the predetermined principles and do they function in practice as agreed. We have the experts in-house to guide this process from the preliminary design through to delivery and commissioning.

Smart building

When designing installations in buildings, more and more buildings are made 'smart': we integrate smart, innovative techniques to improve the working and living environment – the well-being and health – of the user.

Healthy buildings

In healthy buildings, the installations are designed in such a way that the user can live, work and recreate optimally. And which therefore benefit health. After all, people spend much of their time in buildings.

At Valstar Simonis about seventy employees work in all disciplines of installation consultancy. This means we always have the right team at hand for every project.

Internships

Valstar Simonis welcomes students (third year or higher) who want to conduct research into a current technical problem as an internship or graduation assignment.

At the Kralingse Zoom in Rotterdam there is a lot of construction going on new building for Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. After a European tendering procedure, Valstar Simonis, together with DGMR, has been awarded the contract for the component 'Advisor Installations, building physics and fire safety'. Paul de Ruiter Architects has been selected for the architectural design. It is a beautiful new building, adjacent to the Erasmus University Rotterdam. The client is the Hogeschool Rotterdam Business School.

The complex is designed at least at the Breeam Excellent sustainability level, with the aim of creating a healthy indoor climate in a very energy-efficient manner. Director and senior advisor sustainability & circularity Olaf Easting explains more about this in this video:
